The first two Paddington films were very funny and full of charm, along with some excellent cameos
However, he proposed the idea for this third film and was brought on board as an executive producer. Paddington (2014) follows.
This film never gets released and you wonder what happened to the writers
Overall, the performances are a little awkward or under-developed, and there are very few funny moments. A real shame because Paddington 2 in particular was a gem, largely thanks to Hugh Grant who was excellent but ably supported by the prison crew.
Paddington 3 is very ordinary in comparison
it needed a much better script, developed characters and more fun action scenes. After a while, after seeing it, you probably won’t even remember it anymore…
